All puppies are currently spoken for

**Important: Please keep in mind that as a exhibitor of this wonderful breed I breed for myself first. We plan all our breedings with our next show prospect in mind. We hold back all show prospect puppies till at least 14-16 weeks of age. Pet puppies can go to their new homes after 12 weeks of age or their second set of vaccinations.**

A non refundable $400.00 deposit will hold a pet puppy for you.  The order in which the deposits are received determines the order in which your puppy picks you.
If we do not have any pet puppies available, or what you are looking for i.e sex or color please email me and I will give you a list of very well respected pug breeders.

Why do purebred dogs cost so much?

One of the best things about buying a purebred dog is knowing the puppy you brought home will grow up to look like the dog you fell in love with on the street, in the magazines, or at the shows. In general, the price of a purebred puppy can run anywhere from $1500-$3,000. It seems like a lot- and it is- but you're getting a bargain. The cost of producing a well planned litter are substantial. Start with health tests on both parents, add stud fees, transport costs for the stud dog or shipping costs for the dam; pre and postnatal care, registration for the litter and individual dogs- it adds up quickly. Factor in an unexpected C-section, repeat breeding or vet-preformed implants, and a breeder's bank account is rarely in the black (green). The satisfaction we get isn't from the money, but from seeing sturdy, sound representatives of the breeds we love, in loving, responsible homes. Think of all those expensive precautions as a form of insurance, and remember the effort your breeder went through the next time you see a "No questions asked" newspaper ad!

A little about our pug puppies

All our puppies are raised in our dining/living room with all the family noises and everyday living. We try to expose our puppies to the everyday routines of a young family. They are handled by myself, my husband and our 2 boys from the moment they take their first breath. Between 3-5 days old the puppies go to the vet for their first vet check and dewclaw removal. At 2 weeks of age the puppies are put on a regular deworming schedule, they are dewormed every 2 weeks till they leave my home. Around the age of 3 1/2- 4 weeks the puppies will learn how to use the litter box, if the weather is warm we will also try to take them outside to potty. We try and start weaning our puppies at about 6 weeks of age, they get soft food through the day and still have mom at night. At 8 weeks of age the puppies go back to the vet for another vet check at this time they are vaccinated and microchipped (we do not vaccinate any earlier then 8 weeks as the puppies still have the mother antibodies). Once the puppies are mature enough to handle their new families I will allow them to go to their new family (between 12-14 weeks). I make sure I send all puppies home with lots of goodies (puppy pack) and information for the new family. They get 6 weeks free pet insurance offered through CKC, they get a information booklet with all the dates of deworming and vaccines along with when they are next due. I do like to apply advantage Multi to all the puppies to make sure they are completely covered for their new families. My puppies also go home with the CKC registration papers, 1 yr health guarantee/contract and a non breeding contract provided by CKC and myself. I try to make the transition for not only the puppy but the family as simple and easy as I can. The few things I ask of all new families is lots of love  and pictures!!!!! There is lots of stuff I have missed I am sure, raising a litter of puppies is not a walk in the park, it takes a lot of time, love and dedication. If you have any further questions please email me @ shelnic2@telus.net
All questions are encouraged and welcome. I try and answer all my emails, but sometimes they end up in my "JUNK" if you don't get an email back in a few days please email me again.
